Join a New Digital Maker Club at the Ulster Museum

The Nerve Centre and National Museums Northern Ireland are teaming up to establish a digital maker club at the Ulster Museum for participants aged 16-25.

A free eight-week pilot programme will begin on Saturday 7 October allowing digital makers to get hands on with museum collections and the latest digital tech.

Participants will explore areas such as virtual reality, 3D scanning and 3D printing, coding, green screen, laser and vinyl cutting and much more, while developing their own innovative content.

There will also be opportunities to explore the museum’s rich collections and handle objects and items from the archives.

No previous experience is necessary – the project is open to enthusiastic young people with an interest in exploring museums and heritage through new and exciting digital technologies.
