Smartphone Filmmaking with Ones to Watch
Ones to Watch invites young filmmakers aged 18-25 to join them for sessions on Smartphone Filmmaking led by Dublin Smartphone Film Festival.
Are you a young filmmaker looking to get the best out of low budget filmmaking? Are you interested in making short films but not sure what to do with them once they're made? Interested in filming but Covid limiting your access to high end equipment? Looking to use your phone for more than just Instagram?
Ones to Watch are offering a free three week course that can answer all these questions and more. In partnership with Dublin Smartphone Film Festival and NI Mental Health Festival, the team is looking for filmmakers aged 18-25 who want to join smartphone filmmaking sessions ahead of World Mental Health Day. You will be guided by the Ones to Watch team and Rob Fitzhugh from Dublin Smartphone Film Festival to create your own dynamic short films which will then premiere online on Saturday 10th October.
The classes will run on Zoom on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 6-8pm for three weeks starting on Wednesday the 23rd. Places are limited so please complete the application form below.
This truly is a must for all young independent filmmakers and lovers of film!
