TALK | Mental Health, Covid & Creativity with Aoife Ruth

Tuesday 16 Mar 2021 - 6:30pm

Join psychotherapist and musician Aoife Ruth as she helps us to unravel the impact the pandemic has had on both mental health and creativity.

The pandemic has posed particular problems for those working in the creative industries. This talk will offer attendees a chance to reflect on their personal mental health experiences and present some of the different psychological processes at play.

Aoife will start by looking at what mental health in the creative industries looked like prior to the pandemic and will then explore why people in the creative industries are so susceptible to mental distress in the crisis. The talk will end by considering the big questions and areas we can think about to try and see us through this unprecedented time.

This is a FREE event and part of Nerve Centre's #SpringIntotheCreativeIndustries month supported by the Department for Communities and Northern Ireland Screen. For further information or to make us aware of any access needs, contact Paula:

Attendees will receive a link to join via email the day before the event. Please keep an eye out & check your spam folder.
