Reimagine Remake Replay meets NISF: Climate Emergency Webinars

As part of NI Science Festival 2021, join us for a series of talks on the climate emergency - and what we can do to help.

In this series of webinars, we will hear from influential people in the arts and science world on the issue of the Climate Emergency.

  • On 19 February, 12pm, Core RRR participant Sorcha Ní Cheallaigh will speak with activist/academic/author and professor at QUB John Barry. Sign up here.
  • Illustator, designer and Core RRR participant Hannah Sharp will speak with activist, writer and poet Niamh McNally on 20 February, 12pm. Niamh creates stunning poems on the impact of the climate emergency and will be reading some of these live during the event. In addition, expect a wide-ranging discussion on the climate emergency with subjects ranging from; The artist's role in the climate emergency, youth strike for climate, heritage sites and their role in climate emergency, how to raise and use your voice through art and so much more.   • On 21 February, 12pm, join leader of the Green Party, Clare Bailey as she meets with photographer, artist and Core RRR participant Caoimhe Clements. In addition to being leader of the Green Party, Clare is an established activist and campaigner for climate action, women’s rights and many other issues relating to social injustice. Sign up here.

Expect a wide-ranging discussion on the climate emergency with subjects ranging from; the impact of the climate emergency on women, youth strike for climate, heritage sites and their role in climate emergency, Brexit implications and the role of (and need for) activism.

There will be an opportunity for audience members to submit questions via the chat function.
