EVENT | Oscar Jennings
The latest in our series of online gigs, 'Oscar Jennings' performs live at Nerve Centre.
Oscar Jennings is an 18 year old singer songwriter from Derry, who has been performing and singing from a young age, beginning to learn guitar and piano at the age of 5. He has been writing and showcasing his own songs since the age of 14, playing solo around various venues around Derry in venues such as An Culturlann, Bennigans and the Nerve Centre. He has also performed at various festivals, including Stendhal and the Youth19 festival of 2019, and has been the guitarist for the group The Henry Girls.
His music has been compared to that of Elliot Smith, Leonard Cohen, and Nick Drake, with his indie-folk, acoustic style coupled with honest lyrics and pop sensibilities.
