Charity Shop Vinyl EP Launch
Charity Shop Vinyl return to the Nerve Centre for the launch of their EP 'Waking Up the Neighbours'.
With support from Vanilla Days, Villa in France and Zaebius.
Charity Shop Vinyl is a 5 piece alternative rock band, started in Jan 2018. The band played their first gig in February 2018 with local acts, then spent months practicing until their second gig with Foreign Owl in Sandinos, Derry, as part of 'Play for Pride'. The true start for the band was when they began headlining local bars and music venues with artists such as, but not limited to, Mosmo Strange, The Slut Club and WASPS, before going on to headline two sold out shows in The Nerve Centre. The band began recording their debut single 'Our Best Days' and their upcoming EP 'Waking Up The Neighbours' at Blast-Furnace studios in Derry.
In February 2019 the band played McHughs bar in Belfast with good pals Happy Out and are now preparing to headline the Nerve Centre once again for the annual Jazz and Blues Festival in their hometown, as well as a few weeks later playing with local talent for the launch of their first EP. The band is also looking forward to playing a Live Session on BBC Radio Foyle, as well as an EP gig promotion event at Yellow Yard, Derry.
