The year before she died in 1968, Judy Garland watched a TV interview she had done with Dick Cavett. Noticing Cavett’s fidgeting, she enquired why she seemed to make everyone so uncomfortable. Because, said a friend, no one knew if she was going to sing “Over the Rainbow” or open her veins. “Sometimes I do both,” Garland said, “at the same time.” In Judy Renée Zellweger plays the legendary performer at the end of her life, as she arrives in Swinging London to perform a five-week sold-out run at the Talk Of The Town.
Winner of a BAFTA, and nominated for 2 Oscars®.
