VlogIT 2015 saw internet sensations from throughout the UK and Ireland come together to share stories of their success with Northern Ireland's community of aspiring vloggers. The one-day event was hosted by Culture Northern Ireland and Honeycomb - Creative Works gave an insight into the everyday tasks associated with a YouTube career, as well as providing tips about how to improve video success online.

Hear from the exciting programme of guest speakers, including comical twins Niki'N'Sammy, beauty and lifestyle vlogger Melanie Murphy and local rising singer-songwriter Emma Horan.



In little over a year 23-year old twins Niki and Sammy Albon have grown their YouTube channel to over 130,000 subscribers, talking about everything from pop culture, films and a guest interview with former Labour leader, Ed Miliband.

Melanie Murphy

Dubliner Melanie Murphy has racked up over 20 millions views covering topics such as beauty, health and clothing, as well as straying into more personal territory, such as her struggle with an eating disorder. 

Riyadh K

Irish radio personality Riyadh K's entertaining and occasional controversial vlogs have made him a viral hit. He's also interviewed A-list names like Russell Crowe, David Guetta, Piers Morgan and the cast of Orange Is The New Black. 

James Mitchell TV

Rising commentator James Mitchell made headlines after coming out to his grandmother in a video supporting the Yes vote in Ireland's recent marriage equality referendum. Though the emotional clip was what brought his name to an international audience, Mitchell's frequently comical uploads had already gained him a dedicated following. 

Emma Horan

Sixteen year-old mash-up sensation Emma Horan's clever covers have generated hundreds of thousands of hits and an iTunes top three chart placing alongside Ed Sheeran. At VlogIT she shares her experience of the platform and how it has helped launch her career as a young musician.
