Resonate Project Offers A Christmas Treat For Musical Enthusiasts

Are you a musical maestro? Fancy yourself as the next big singing sensation? If so, the Nerve Centre’s Resonate project is offering you the chance to get professionally recorded for free this Friday, December 13.

Throughout the day Resonate, in partnership with Blast Furnace Recording Studio, will install pop-up studios around Derry~Londonderry to capture the musical talent, energy and spirit of the city. The project will culminate in an online archive and legacy of the UK City of Culture year featuring a selection of highlights from music festivals and music events, one-off collaborations and exclusive recordings.

The free recording studios will be available to book, in one-hour sessions and a small selection of Christmas backing tracks will be provided. So if you’re tired of singing in the shower, why not put your musical credentials to the test?

The studios will be located throughout the city centre, Creggan, Springtown and Waterside from 10am until 5pm on Friday, December 13. To book a pop-up recording studio at any of the locations, participants are asked to email with their name, mobile number, preferred location, time and a brief summary of the proposed track. Allocations will be made on a first-come first-served basis.
