Nerve Centre Cinema Programme April - May

Nerve Centre Cinema Programme April - May

We welcome Spring with a new season of films at Nerve Centre Cinema. The new programme offers an exciting mix of foreign language, documentary and contemporary film. From the turmoil of the French Revolution in Farewell, My Queen, through the late 1940s-early 1950s, and the era of The Beat Generation in On The Road. While Not Fade Away and The Sapphires celebrates the excitement of being young and coming of age during the swinging sixties.

The programme also follows the reign of two American Presidents - Franklin D. Roosevelt in Hyde Park On Hudson and Abraham Lincoln in Lincoln. We mark the launch of this year's Foyle Film Festival Light In Motion Competition CALL FOR ENTRIES on Tuesday 2 April with The Joy Of Six a selection of six independent short films from up-and-coming filmmakers, which screen on Thursday 11 April. The three categories for this year's Foyle Film Festival Oscar® recognised Light In Motion (LIM) Competition are 'Best Short Film', 'Best Animation', & 'Best Documentary'. All entries must be submitted through the festival's affiliated website:

The new cinema season offers a packed programme of 26 films during April and May for the special ticket price of £2 per film (£52). While a Season Membership costs only £25 - representing a saving of over 50% for the new Spring Programme.
