Free iPad Courses for Teachers

Get to know your iPad: Tues Oct 16, 4pm - 6pm

We all know what iPads are and we know some of what they do, but this session will take you beyond the initial ease of use into a deeper and more practical knowledge of the device as a learning tool. Areas covered include: What is an iPad?; Basic navigation; Settings; Taster of apps; Apple TV.

Deploying Mobile Devices in the Classroom: Wed Oct 17, 4.30pm- 6pm

Just got new iPads for your class? Loving the intuitive workflow and ease of use? Not loving the difficulties of getting your pupils' work off the shared iPads and archived safely? We can offer advice / possible solutions and would be very interested to hear of any methods you have used. This session is aimed at IT Co-ordinators and technically informed teachers and deals with some of the technical practicalities of deploying multiple mobile devices within the classroom. Come and join us on a shared learning experience.
