The Foyle Science Showcase is a fun hands- on event designed to introduce young people to the wonderful world of science and technology. Meet RuBot, our life-sized Rubik’s cube solving robot who appeared in the 2010 Guinness Book of World Records.

Join the robotics experts at Ulster University to hear about their world leading robotics research Our mobile planetarium allows you to learn about the solar system whilst sitting underneath it.

Get up close and personal with weird and wonderful animals from around the world. We also have many workshops where you can learn about the wonders of nature, the human body, food, psychology and technology.
 
To top this all off we have our amazing ‘Science of Dragons’ show brought to you by Scientific Sue. This show is based on the books written by Cressida Cowell: How to Train Your Dragon. Sponsored by Innovate UK with support from Derry City & Strabane District Council and the Nerve Centre.
