Richard Hawley, the critically-acclaimed guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer, one time Longpig and member of Pulp, but most known as the writer and singer behind Mercury Prize winning album Cole Corner and Mojo record of the Year Trueloves Gutter, plays at the Nerve Centre in December.
Hawley has just released his sixth studio album, Standing at the Sky’s Edge, which has already reached number 3 in the album charts. 'It's an angry album,' Richard Hawley has said of the record, 'The gloves are off. I don't really write political songs but like most right-minded people I'm angry at what's happening here in Britain.'
It seems that Hawley has struck a chord with the public and the press...
