In 2016 the Nerve Centre re-opened the former Turner Prize Gallery as ‘Nerve Visual’, a major new venue for visual arts in the Northern Ireland, located in Ebrington, a former army barracks in Derry~Londonderry.
As part of this focus on visual arts and lens-based digital media the Nerve Centre developed a series of major visual arts commissions with partners including 14-18 Now, the Ulster Museum, The Fondation Gilles Caron, University of Limerick’s FabLab, Ultra Lab Madrid and Matts Gallery London.
